What is AN Exercise Physiologist?

An Exercise Physiologist (EP) is an expert in keeping you fit, healthy and pain-free through the power of exercise and lifestyle change. But more than that, they are able to listen to your health concerns and provide you with real-world solutions and advice that you can use to empower yourself to take control of your own health and wellbeing. EPs are university trained, requiring a Masters level degree to practice.

How can we help you?

what conditions do we see?

EPs can help basically anyone to better their health, as exercise is a tool that has a powerful effect on the human body regardless of age, gender, or diagnosis. Some of the typical presentations we help are arthritis, injuries and chronic pain, diabetes, stroke, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, heart disease and people with various disabilties. Our EP James has extensive experience in all these and more, with particular interest in CFS, disability, chronic pain and neurological conditions.

By seeing an EP you will be provided not only with a plan of attack to strengthen your body and improve your health, but also with someone by your side that you can trust, that can help guide and advise you on what’s important to you. You will be listened to, acknowledged and respected, with your priorities put first.
